Blog #1 "Pop goes the weasel"

Mary Maloney would not be able to get off the hook for murdering her husband whether or not she claimed temporary insanity because murder is always a crime that you can not apologize for or undo. I believe that Mrs. Maloney had become, after the shock of the news that the late Mr. Maloney was leaving her, indeed became insane. Although she had become insane, it may become clear to many that she would be in complete control of her actions, even though it was a result of shock. As you can see on page 5 of "Lamb to the Slaughter"(Dahl 5), Mary must rehearse what she says before she leaves the house to go to Sam at the supermarket, so even though she is in denial, she knows exactly what happened and would go through anything to save her and her child's life.
